This page describes how to create a content folder. This folder can be used for organizing information and coursework. The difference between a module and a folder is one of style. The folder is a container which lists each item it includes.


  • Select the course you wish to add a folder to.
  • In the left menu, click the location you wish to add a folder.
    • Note: You can only add a Content Folder to content area such as "Information" and "Content."
  • Once in the content area, click Build Content in the upper left corner.
  • Under New Page, select Content Folder.
  • Fill in the Name of the folder and any additional information.
  • Click Submit.
